The Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the French Republic has issued an urgent call for Bahraini citizens, including residents, students, and tourists, to exercise extreme caution following a sharp drop in temperatures and heavy snowfall across several French regions. In an official statement, the embassy emphasized the vital importance of adhering to all safety protocols and directives issued by French authorities to ensure public safety and mitigate the risks associated with the severe winter weather.
The warning coincides with major disruptions across the country’s transportation network, as the French Transport Minister confirmed the cancellation of at least 140 flights in Paris due to deteriorating conditions. With air traffic and road travel significantly impacted by the cold wave, the embassy has urged its citizens to remain vigilant and avoid unnecessary travel.
