BCFC earns re-certification for latest PCI DSS 4.0.1

Bahrain Commercial Facilities Company (BCFC) announced that it has successfully completed the re-certification process for the latest version of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), version 4.0.1. This achievement reflects BCFC’s dedication to implementing the highest security standards, safeguarding sensitive cardholder data, and ensuring compliance with the latest requirements for secure payment methods and procedures.
Meeting the requirements of the latest PCI DSS version demonstrates BCFC’s ability to keep pace with rapid advancements in payment security and highlights its proactive technical and organizational readiness to implement a more advanced protection framework. This includes stringent controls, precise monitoring processes, and enhanced security policies designed to protect cardholder data and ensure the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive electronic transactions.
The Certification was achieved following comprehensive audits and the successful implementation of stringent requirements. BCFC collaborated closely with SISA, a leading information security assessment company in the Middle East, to ensure compliance with updated standards and the integration of advanced security protocols for payments and card systems.
