Foulath Holding, a leading industrial group specializing in iron and steel and the parent company of Bahrain Steel and SULB Company, has announced a state of force majeure affecting parts of its operations due to ongoing regional developments in the Middle East.
The company stated that escalating tensions in the region have created significant security and logistical challenges, impacting its operational capabilities and supply chains. These developments include restrictions on airspace, disruptions to certain maritime routes, and heightened security risks.
As a result, conditions beyond the company’s control have forced temporary disruptions in some of its activities.
In light of these circumstances, Foulath Holding confirmed that it has taken precautionary measures by temporarily suspending certain operational activities. The decision was made to prioritize the safety of employees, contractors, and all stakeholders until conditions are deemed safe for operations to resume.
The company emphasized that the move is purely precautionary and driven by safety considerations amid factors outside its control.
Foulath Holding added that it is closely monitoring the situation and will continue to communicate with customers, suppliers, partners, and stakeholders, providing updates as more information becomes available.
The group also expressed appreciation for the understanding and cooperation of its partners and stakeholders during this period.
