Future Stars series delivers thrilling action

Rashid Equestrian and Horse racing Club (REHC) held the second round of the Future Stars Series, sponsored by Singapore Gulf Bank and dedicated to Bahrain-bred horses, as part of the 26th race of the 2025/2026 season.
The race was held for the Cups of Late Mr. Abdulla Ahmed Nass, sponsored by Nass Corporation and A.A Nass & Sons, the Applied Science University (ASU), the REHC, and Al Wasmiya. The racing evening took place at the Club’s racecourse in Al Raffah, Sakhir.
The winners of the race cups were crowned, as Mr. Yusuf Osama Buheji, Member of the High Committee of REHC and Acting Chief Executive Officer, presented the first round trophy to the winning trainer, Adel Abdullah.
His Highness Shaikh Sultan Al Deen bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa received the third round trophy from Shaikh Hasan bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Deputy Chief Regulatory Officer at REHC, while Mr. Ebrahim Faisal Al Malki, Director of Media and Communications at REHC, presented the fourth round trophy to the winning trainer, Haider Ebrahim.
Meanwhile, Mr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Nema, Director of the Jockey Foundation, presented the fifth round trophy to the winning owner, Abdullah Sami Nass, while Prof. Waheeb Al Khaja, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the ASU, presented the sixth round trophy to the winning trainer, Paul Smith.
Mr. Fawzi Nass presented the seventh round trophy to Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa.
The racing evening featured strong competitions across all ten races.
