Saudi-Bahraini Think Tanks Explore Strategic Collaboration

His Royal Highness Prince Turki Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, founder and member of the Board of Trustees of the King Faisal Foundation and Chairman of the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies, received Abdullah Mohammed Al-Ahmad, CEO of the Bahrain Center for Strategic, International, and Energy Studies (Derasat), during his visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The meeting focused on exploring areas of research cooperation of mutual interest, aimed at strengthening the role of think tanks in anticipating global and regional developments and supporting public policy pathways. Discussions also included enhancing scientific efforts, promoting integration, and coordinating positions in line with the directives outlined in the Al-Sakhir Declaration issued during the 46th Summit of the GCC Supreme Council (Bahrain Summit).

This visit reflects Derasat’s commitment to expanding its research partnerships with leading intellectual institutions in Saudi Arabia, fostering knowledge integration, and advancing strategic research. The collaboration seeks to support institutional frameworks for addressing priority issues of common interest between the Kingdoms.
