College Trip Highlights Bahraini Heritage

Bahrain University College organized a trip to the Al Jasra Handicrafts Center to promote Bahraini identity and connect students with their national heritage. During the visit, students explored various traditional crafts for which Bahrain is famous, including pottery, weaving, palm frond crafts, basket making, and carpentry.
They observed skilled artisans at work, learning about the history of these practices and their role in shaping Bahraini society. This unique opportunity allowed students to appreciate the value of local heritage and understand the efforts made to preserve cultural traditions. The experience, which combined knowledge and practical observation, significantly enriched their cultural understanding.
