LMRA to broaden cooperation with Jordan
Chief Executive of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), also Chairman of the National Committee to Combat Trafficking in Persons, Osama bin Abdullah Al-Absi, today received a Jordanian parliamentary delegation led by Chairman of Labour, Social Development and Housing Committee, Abdullah Obeidat.
Aspects of cooperation and exchange of expertise in the labour area were discussed, as well as the status of Jordanian workforce in Bahrain.
LMRA CEO explained the LMRA's responsibility for regulating the relationship among production parties and providing services to contribute to boosting the national economy. He also gave an overview of the executive steps taken to reform the local market over past years.
The Jordanian delegation praised the support provided for the Jordanian workforce in Bahrain, expressing keenness to further broadening cooperation with Bahrain.
