Hearing in murder case on Feb 4
The prosecution witnesses will give evidence on February 4 in the trial of a Bahraini man accused of beating to death another Bahraini.
The suspect is standing trial before the High Criminal Court after hitting a man on his head with an iron rod. The defendant was sent for trial following the latter’s death from the injuries.
According to court files, the two were involved in a brawl at a house. When a police patrol reached the house, they were told that there was nothing unusual happening in the house. But later, police received another tip-off saying that there was a dead man inside the house. Police found the two lying on the ground, one motionless and the other with injuries (the defendant). The defendant had entered a not-guilty plea before the High Criminal Court.
