Abu Dhabi Government Welcomes Record Crowds at GITEX 2025

Abu Dhabi made a striking impression at GITEX Global 2025, hosting a record 55,000 visitors at its pavilion, showcasing the emirate’s bold journey to become the world’s first AI-native government by 2027. The week-long exhibition at the Dubai World Trade Centre saw around 10,000 more visitors than last year, reflecting growing global interest in Abu Dhabi’s AI-driven transformation.

Led by the Department of Government Enablement – Abu Dhabi (DGE), the program highlighted 55 AI-enabled government projects alongside 55 strategic partnerships, culminating in forward-looking discussions on AI leadership, talent development, and governance amid a rapidly shifting geopolitical landscape.

The final day featured high-profile sessions including a Fireside Chat hosted by TAMM, Dell Technologies, and Deloitte titled “From Silicon to Sentience – Scaling AI-Powered Government Services”, a panel on “The Future of Leadership in an Age of AI and Geopolitical Change”, and the Abu Dhabi Government Employees (ADGE) Awards and Ambassadors Ceremony, celebrating innovation champions and cross-government collaboration.

A centerpiece of Abu Dhabi’s showcase was TAMM 4.0, introducing AutoGov, the world’s first AI public servant. AutoGov automates recurring government tasks—ranging from license renewals and utility payments to healthcare appointment scheduling—ushering in a new era of anticipatory government services. The platform now integrates 1,100 services across 90 public and private-sector partners.

TAMM Hologram will extend this innovation through mobile pods across the emirate, enabling residents to engage with live government agents via immersive holographic technology.

His Excellency Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al Kuttab, Chairman of DGE, commented:
"TAMM 4.0 and the partnerships unveiled this week demonstrate that Abu Dhabi’s transformation is not merely about adopting technology, but fundamentally reimagining how the government serves people. By working together within a unified ecosystem, we are building a digital future where innovation serves a clear purpose—empowering communities and building a government ready for tomorrow."

Throughout the week, Abu Dhabi also demonstrated dozens of next-generation AI solutions, including:

  • GovGPT – a sovereign AI assistant enabling secure, bilingual government-wide knowledge searches.

  • Tomouh 2.0 – an AI-driven learning platform for public-sector employees.

  • LivAI – a digital twin for urban planning powered by AI.

  • Environmental Data Platform – centralizing satellite imagery and predictive analytics for sustainability monitoring.

  • AD.WE – integrated energy and water management.

  • Smart Healthcare Platform & Population Health Intelligence (PHI) – advancing precision medicine.

  • Community Well-Being Dashboard & Family Support Insights – enhancing social impact initiatives.

  • RAAD Vehicle – Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority’s emergency response command platform.

These projects, under the AI-Native by Design, Community-Driven by Purpose initiative, illustrate how AI is being embedded into all aspects of public service—from healthcare and education to mobility, energy, and sustainability.

Abu Dhabi also launched the DGE AI Skills Collaboration, the world’s first government-wide, multi-partner AI upskilling program. With 95% workforce AI readiness and over 100 live AI use cases, it provides role-based learning pathways for executives and frontline teams, in both Arabic and English.

Strategic partnerships with global technology leaders—including Oracle, Microsoft, Core42, Google Cloud, and AWS—further advance AI implementation across healthcare, urban infrastructure, emergency response, trade, and community services.

By unveiling AutoGov, showcasing breakthrough AI projects, and strengthening strategic collaborations, Abu Dhabi has reinforced its position as a global benchmark for AI-driven, human-centred government services.
