Bahrain Applauds Historic First Phase of U.S. Peace Plan for Gaza
The Kingdom of Bahrain is closely following the announcement of a landmark agreement to implement the first phase of the U.S. peace plan aimed at ending the conflict in Gaza.
The plan, proposed by President Donald J. Trump, focuses on establishing a ceasefire, securing the release of hostages and detainees, and ensuring the unhindered flow of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.
Bahrain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the kingdom’s appreciation for President Trump’s efforts, as well as those of international mediators, in bringing Israel and Hamas to the negotiating table and working toward ending the hostilities. The ministry called on all involved parties to uphold their commitments and fully implement the agreement.
Bahrain also emphasized the importance of regional and international collaboration to achieve a lasting and comprehensive ceasefire, while improving humanitarian conditions and the quality of life for the residents of Gaza.
