Royal Directive Ensures Rights, Stability for Bahraini Families

The Shura Council’s Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense, and National Security, chaired by Dr. Ali bin Mohammed Al-Rumaihi, has praised the Royal directive issued by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of Bahrain, on renewing passports for Bahraini citizens who recently lost their Kuwaiti citizenship.

The committee affirmed that the Royal initiative embodies the highest humanitarian values and reflects His Majesty’s unwavering approach in safeguarding the dignity of Bahraini citizens while reinforcing their constitutional rights.

Highlighting the broader implications of the decision, the committee noted that the directive represents an advanced Royal vision that places the welfare of Bahraini families at the forefront. It stressed that the move ensures family cohesion, stability, and prioritizes the interests of citizens above all.

The committee further emphasized that such noble initiatives are a true reflection of the principles of justice and fairness upon which Bahrain’s rule of law and institutional framework are built.

Reaffirming its stance, the committee stated that the legislative authority stands united behind the wise leadership of His Majesty the King in supporting all national initiatives that safeguard citizens’ rights and uphold Bahrain’s constitutional and humanitarian values.
