HM King calls on Bahrainis to embody mercy, uphold unity, and value the nation’s blessings

Marking the anniversary of the birth of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa congratulated the people of Bahrain and the Islamic nation while urging them to embody the Prophet’s enduring values of mercy, compassion and peace.

In a message on the occasion, HM the King emphasised that the Prophet’s life stands as a model of honesty, sincerity, and service to others, guiding believers to promote brotherhood, harmony and the rejection of division and conflict.

National strength

HM King Hamad underlined that these values have long shaped Bahraini society, strengthening cohesion, awareness and loyalty among citizens. His Majesty expressed pride in the Kingdom’s blessings, foremost among them security and stability, which HM described as the foundation of development and the strongest safeguard of national progress.

HM the King commended the Bahraini people for their enduring loyalty and sense of belonging, which have preserved these blessings across generations.

Regional concerns

Addressing the tragedies of ongoing regional conflicts, HM the King warned of the toll on innocent lives, particularly among children, women and the elderly. His Majesty stressed the importance of preserving national solidarity and rejecting division in such times.

HM the King also prayed for relief and protection for the people of Palestine and the Gaza Strip, asking Allah the Almighty to safeguard their lives and grant them peace after hardship.

Faith and unity

His Majesty ended his message by praying for the preservation of Bahrain’s unity, security and prosperity, and for support to its citizens in serving their faith, nation and the wider community.
