Bahrain Bourse Profits Rise 6.9% to USD 1.13bn in First Half of 2025

Net profit for companies on the Bahrain Bourse rose by 6.9% in the first six months of 2025, reaching USD 1.13 billion against USD 1.06 billion a year earlier, Kamco Invest reported.
In the second quarter, profits edged up by 0.5% on an annual basis to USD 567.1 million. Ten of the 14 sectors recorded growth, with banking and insurance setting the pace.
Banks posted earnings of USD 280.4 million in the quarter, a rise of 13.5% from USD 247 million in the same period of 2024. Insurance companies recorded the sharpest change, with profits leaping to USD 95.8 million from USD 15.7 million a year earlier. Over the first half, the sector’s earnings reached USD 107.8 million, up 184.6%.
Kamco Invest said the data shows banks and insurers remained central drivers of the market through the first half of the year.
