National Institution for Human Rights Holds Sixth Consultative Meeting with Civil Society Organizations

The National Institution for Human Rights, chaired by Eng. Ali Ahmed Al-Darazi, held the sixth consultative meeting with civil society organizations working in the field of human rights at its headquarters in Seef.

The meeting reviewed the minutes of the previous session and discussed various topics related to the protection and promotion of human rights in the Kingdom. Participants highlighted the role of civil society organizations and emphasized the importance of organizing training programs for members of these associations. Such initiatives aim to strengthen their role in safeguarding rights, promoting a culture of human rights, and enhancing the capabilities of local staff in addressing various human rights issues according to national and international standards.

The meeting concluded that these efforts will empower civil society organizations to actively participate in finding solutions to human rights matters and enhance partnership with the National Institution for Human Rights to serve their shared goals.
