Bahrain, US Coast Guard Strengthen Maritime Cooperation
Public Security Chief Major-General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan today welcomed Admiral Nathan Moore, Deputy Commander of the United States Coast Guard, at his office in Manama. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Chief of Public Security, the Assistant Chief for Operations and Training, and the Acting Coast Guard Commander.
The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between Bahrain and the US in several areas, including joint operations, training programs, infrastructure development, and improving technical expertise. Both sides highlighted the importance of enhancing efficiency and readiness to ensure maritime security and raise awareness in the field.
Major-General Al Hassan emphasized the value of continued collaboration and knowledge exchange with the US Coast Guard, noting that such partnerships play a key role in supporting maritime security efforts and safeguarding public safety.
