US Congress staff visit Bahrain’s Ombudsman Office

The Ombudsman’s Office in Bahrain welcomed a delegation of US Congress staff on Tuesday as part of their ongoing visit to the Kingdom.
During the meeting, the American delegation was given an overview of the Ombudsman’s role, including its authority to receive complaints from individuals and institutions, and its efforts to ensure transparency, accountability, and the protection of rights.
The Ombudsman’s team also highlighted the office’s achievements in strengthening trust between citizens and institutions.
Officials stressed the importance of such visits in sharing expertise and building closer ties with international partners, noting that open dialogue helps promote mutual understanding and cooperation.
