His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, met with President Donald J. Trump at the White House today, in a meeting that underscored the strong and enduring partnership between the two countries.

During the meeting, HRH conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the U.S. President. The Crown Prince highlighted the deep-rooted ties between Bahrain and the United States, a relationship that stretches back more than 130 years and has grown stronger across the fields of security, trade, and diplomacy.

A key highlight of the visit was the announcement of a $17 billion investment package across various sectors, reflecting the growing trust and economic cooperation between the two nations. HRH noted that this major investment initiative will deepen the economic partnership and further drive development and innovation.

Discussions also touched on the significance of the U.S.-Bahrain Free Trade Agreement and the role of the U.S. Trade Zone in Bahrain, which have both played a major part in boosting bilateral trade and investment.

The Crown Prince also welcomed the growing momentum behind the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA). He noted the importance of the United Kingdom joining the agreement, describing it as a milestone that will help enhance regional security, economic collaboration, and innovation, particularly in science and technology. HRH expressed hope that more like-minded countries would join the initiative, helping to build a more peaceful and cooperative Middle East.

In their discussions, HRH and President Trump addressed recent developments in the region and globally. HRH Prince Salman reaffirmed Bahrain’s values of tolerance, coexistence, and dialogue, noting that real stability can only come through prosperity and cooperation.

He also spoke about the importance of peaceful nuclear energy in supporting sustainable development and cleaner energy futures.

President Trump, in turn, praised King Hamad as a highly respected global leader and welcomed the Bahraini delegation warmly. He described Bahrain as a trusted ally, commended the strength of bilateral relations, and emphasized the growing trade and strategic ties between the two nations.

A lunch banquet was hosted at the White House in honor of HRH Prince Salman and the Bahraini delegation, including His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court.

The visit marked a new chapter in the Bahrain-U.S. alliance, with both leaders reaffirming their commitment to shared goals of peace, prosperity, and global cooperation.
