HH Shaikh Isa Expands Education Partnerships, Backs More Scholarships

His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa has reaffirmed the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust’s commitment to deepening institutional partnerships, increasing scholarships, and strengthening public-private collaboration to elevate Bahrain’s education sector.

Chairing the Trust’s Board of Trustees meeting at Riffa Palace on Wednesday, HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman highlighted the critical role of quality education in supporting national development, aligning with the comprehensive vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Expanded support

During the meeting, the Board reviewed recommendations from the Investment and Property Management Committee and discussed expanding collaborations with academic institutions that align with the Trust’s mission to deliver high-quality education to Bahraini students.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman directed the expansion of scholarship seats for the 2025–2026 academic year, aiming to broaden access to academic opportunities and support outstanding students across the Kingdom.

Partnership push

He further stressed the need for sustained engagement with both public and private sector institutions to create a dynamic educational ecosystem capable of developing the Kingdom’s human capital.

Ongoing efforts

As Chairman of the Trust and the Board of Directors of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman reiterated the importance of implementing impactful, forward-looking initiatives that foster educational excellence and align with Bahrain’s long-term development goals.

The Board closed the session by reaffirming its support for initiatives that empower students and institutions alike.
