His Excellency Mohammed Ali Al Qaed, Chief Executive of the Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA) and Chairman of the Government Service Centres Evaluation Committee, emphasised the importance of recognising excellence in public service delivery.

He noted that the recent recognition of top-performing government service centres under the fifth cycle of the Government Service Centres Evaluation Programme, “Taqyeem 5,” marks a significant step in enhancing the quality and efficiency of government services.

Al Qaed highlighted that His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, awarded Gold classification to outstanding service centres and Platinum classification to remote service centres, reflecting his ongoing commitment to promoting excellence in government performance and embedding it across all national development pathways.

The iGA chief noted that government entities place great importance on adopting performance excellence, particularly in developing national talent, improving procedures, embracing innovative methods, and adhering to global best practices that contribute to providing high-quality government services and enhancing the customer experience.
