His Majesty King Hamad Receives Egyptian Delegation at Al Safriya Palace
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa welcomed an Egyptian delegation at Al Safriya Palace today, comprising key figures including Ahmed Kouchouk, Minister of Finance; Dr. Rania Al Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation; and Hassan El Khatib, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The delegation's visit is part of the second meeting of the Bahrain-Egypt Joint Governmental Committee on Trade, Economic, Scientific, and Technological Cooperation, aimed at bolstering bilateral collaboration across essential sectors.
During the meeting, the delegation conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from His Excellency Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of Egypt, to HM the King and the people of Bahrain, expressing hopes for the Kingdom's continued progress and prosperity.
In response, HM King Hamad extended his greetings to President El Sisi and the Egyptian people, wishing them ongoing advancement and success. He emphasized the deep-rooted historical ties and strong fraternal bonds between Bahrain and Egypt, reaffirming the commitment to enhance bilateral relations in alignment with both nations' aspirations.
The King expressed appreciation for President El Sisi’s efforts in strengthening Bahrain-Egypt relations and commended the positive outcomes of the Joint Governmental Committee meeting. He highlighted its role in fostering strategic partnerships, expanding cooperation in trade, investment, and scientific fields, and increasing trade exchanges for mutual benefit.
HM King Hamad also acknowledged the contributions of the Egyptian community in Bahrain, recognizing their significant role in the Kingdom’s development. He praised Egypt's progress under President El Sisi’s leadership, noting the country’s pioneering development, major infrastructure projects, and accomplishments across various sectors.
