His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa sent a cable to Pope Francis, wishing His Holiness a speedy recovery following his hospitalisation for medical tests due to a health issue.
HM the King wished the Pope good health and continued success in his efforts to promote dialogue and understanding among religions, cultures, and civilisations, and to uphold the values of respect and peaceful coexistence among nations.
