Qatar Airways has announced the resumption of daily flights between Doha and Philadelphia (PHL), effective 1 August 2026, expanding its North American network to 14 destinations and strengthening connectivity for travellers across the region.
The service will be operated using the Airbus A350-900, featuring the airline’s award-winning Qsuite business class and Starlink internet service, which Qatar Airways describes as the fastest Wi-Fi in the sky. The airline said more than 140 of its aircraft are equipped with Starlink, making it the world’s first and largest Starlink-equipped widebody fleet.
The return of the Philadelphia route reflects Qatar Airways’ continued commitment to the U.S. market and will provide seamless connections to destinations across Africa, Asia and the Middle East through Hamad International Airport in Doha.
In the United States, passengers will also benefit from enhanced onward connectivity through Qatar Airways’ oneworld alliance partner, American Airlines.
Since launching its first U.S. service to New York in 2007, Qatar Airways has steadily expanded its presence across North America, offering travellers greater flexibility, premium travel experiences and access to more than 160 destinations worldwide.
