The Ukrainian military struck one of Russia's most critical oil export facilities overnight, setting ablaze the Grushovaya transshipment depot near the Black Sea port of Novorossiysk.
According to Ukraine's General Staff, the strategic hub handles major pipelines in southern Russia and accounts for nearly 20% of the country's seaborne crude exports. Open-source monitoring and local videos confirmed a massive fire with thick smoke rising over the facility following the drone strike.
The Grushovaya depot, the largest storage terminal in the Caucasus region, can process up to 75 million tons of petroleum products annually. Operating as a critical supply node for major refineries, the site is a primary target in Ukraine's campaign to disrupt Russian fuel logistics and wartime export revenues.
Additionally, the overnight operations successfully targeted a radar station near Kabardinka and multiple enemy drone command posts across the occupied Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, and Kursk regions.
