Flight data bolsters claim China Eastern plane was deliberately crashed in 2022

BEIJING: Newly released data from the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) suggests that the 2022 crash of China Eastern flight MU5735 may have been a deliberate act. The Boeing 737-800 plunged 29,000 feet into a mountain in southern China, killing all 132 people on board.
Analysis of the flight data recorder reveals that while the aircraft was at cruising altitude, the fuel switches for both engines were manually moved from the ‘run’ to the ‘cutoff’ position simultaneously.
Aviation experts note that these physical controls require a specific ‘pull and move’ action, making an accidental shutdown highly unlikely. Furthermore, there was no recorded attempt to restart the engines.
While the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has previously denied intentional interference, this new evidence aligns with earlier reports suggesting human input directed the deadly dive. Investigators continue to focus on whether the crash resulted from the actions of a pilot or an intruder in the cockpit.
