King of Jordan, Kuwait FM Discuss Ties and Regional De-escalation Efforts
His Majesty King Abdullah II received Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kuwait, in the presence of His Royal Highness Al Hussein bin Abdullah II.
The meeting reviewed the strong bilateral relations between Jordan and Kuwait, with both sides exploring ways to further expand cooperation across various sectors. Discussions also highlighted the importance of strengthening joint Arab efforts to support de-escalation and maintain stability across the region.
King Abdullah II emphasised that any de-escalation arrangements must safeguard the security of Arab states, noting that the stability of Gulf nations remains essential to both regional and global security.
He also reiterated the importance of continued support for Lebanon in maintaining its security, stability, and sovereignty amid ongoing regional challenges.
