Saudi, China Leaders Call for Maritime Security

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, held a phone call with President Xi Jinping of China to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments.
During the call, both leaders reviewed the strategic partnership between Saudi Arabia and China, highlighting areas of cooperation and exploring ways to further strengthen ties across multiple sectors.
They also exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments, particularly their security and economic implications. Discussions focused on de-escalation efforts, maritime security, and the stability of vital global supply chains.
President Xi underscored the importance of ensuring the Strait of Hormuz remains open to navigation in a way that supports regional stability and the broader interests of the international community.
