Egyptian President Meets Kuwaiti Foreign Minister to Strengthen Bilateral Ties
Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of the Egypt, received Jarrah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kuwait, for talks focused on strengthening bilateral relations and regional cooperation.
During the meeting, President El Sisi reaffirmed Egypt’s firm stance against any violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty or that of any Arab nation, emphasising that the security of Gulf countries remains closely linked to Egypt’s national security.
He also highlighted the importance of further enhancing cooperation across key sectors, particularly in trade and investment, to serve mutual interests and deepen ties between the two countries.
According to presidential spokesperson Mohamed El Shennawy, the Kuwaiti foreign minister expressed appreciation for Egypt’s consistent support for Kuwait’s security, stability, and sovereignty, as well as its broader role in supporting regional security.
Both sides underscored the importance of continued coordination and consultation to promote regional stability, strengthen Arab cooperation, and support efforts aimed at maintaining peace across the region.
