Pope Leo: God Rejects Prayers of Those Who Wage War

Vatican: During a Palm Sunday Mass marking the start of Holy Week, Pope Leo XIV delivered a strong message against war, saying God “does not listen to the prayers of those who wage war but rejects them.”
While he did not mention any leaders by name, the pope has recently been outspoken in criticising the ongoing conflict involving Iran, urging peace and condemning the use of religion to justify violence.
