US and Iran Expected to Hold Talks in Oman, Details Still Under Discussion
Talks between the United States and Iran are expected to take place in Oman, but the exact scope of the discussions has yet to be agreed upon, an Arab diplomat told AFP on Wednesday.
According to the diplomat, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the talks, "A meeting is requested in Oman by the Iranians, and the Americans have approved the location, but the parameters of discussions are still being worked on."
The development comes as both sides explore potential diplomatic engagement, though key details of the agenda remain unresolved.
