Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared on Monday that Israeli forces would assume full control of the Gaza Strip, as military operations intensify in the besieged territory.

In a video message shared on his Telegram channel, Netanyahu stated, “The fighting is intense and we are making progress. We will take control of all the territory of the Strip.” He emphasized that Israel would not back down, adding, “In order to succeed, we must act in a way that cannot be stopped.”

The remarks come as the Israeli military continues its expanded offensive across Gaza, following months of ongoing conflict. Ground operations and airstrikes have escalated, with Israeli forces advancing deeper into densely populated areas, triggering renewed concerns over civilian casualties and humanitarian conditions.

Netanyahu’s latest comments signal a clear intention to maintain a sustained military presence in the enclave — a move that has already drawn international scrutiny. The Prime Minister framed the action as a necessary measure to ensure security and eliminate threats, though critics argue it could further destabilize the region.

International responses to the ongoing conflict remain divided, with calls for ceasefire and humanitarian access growing louder amid the worsening situation on the ground.
