Saudi Crown Prince and Zelenskyy Hold Talks on Resolving Russia-Ukraine Conflict

Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman engaged in comprehensive discussions with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah.
The talks were centered on the ongoing Russia-Ukraine crisis, with the Crown Prince reaffirming Saudi Arabia’s commitment to supporting international efforts toward a peaceful resolution. He stressed the Kingdom’s strong desire for peace and stability, both regionally and globally. In response, President Zelenskyy expressed his gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s active role in advancing peace, acknowledging the Kingdom’s significant contributions to fostering peace across the Middle East and the world.
The leaders also discussed the state of bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Ukraine, exploring opportunities to further enhance their cooperation.
Before the meeting, President Zelenskyy was officially welcomed by the Crown Prince, who expressed his pleasure in hosting the Ukrainian leader. Zelenskyy, in turn, shared his appreciation for the visit and the opportunity to meet with the Crown Prince.
The talks were attended by several prominent Saudi officials, including Deputy Emir of Makkah Region Prince Saud bin Mishaal, Minister of State and Council of Ministers Member Prince Turki bin Mohammed, Minister of the National Guard Prince Abdullah bin Bandar, Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman, Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan, National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban, Minister of Commerce Dr. Majed Al-Qasabi, Minister of Finance Mohammed Al-Jadaan, and Saudi Ambassador to Ukraine Mohammed Al-Barakah.
On the Ukrainian side, the delegation included Andrii Yermak, Head of the Office of the President, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, First Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Vitalii Koval, President’s Advisor Oleksandr Kamyshin, Ukrainian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Anatolii Petrenko, and Advisor to the President Dmytro Lytvyn.
