Dubai school fires gardener over molestation charges
An Indian school in Dubai has fired the gardener over molestation charges.
In a letter dated December 13, the headmistress of the school informed their parent community that the gardener has been “terminated from his services”.
It added, “(He) will be deported within the next 24 hours”.
“Please be assured that the safety, security and wellbeing of our children is of paramount importance to the school and our staff is ever vigilant to ensure the same.”
A parent of a Grade 3 student had filed a complaint with the school after she claimed catching the gardener misbehaving with a student on December 11.
Since then, the parent community, through social media, circulated the information, with many students saying the same person had been bothering them.
It’s unclear whether a police complaint has been filed.
