Emirates Airlines to Build New Cabin Crew Village in Dubai Investments Park

Emirates Airline has signed an agreement with Dubai Investments Park (DIP) to develop a new purpose-built Cabin Crew Village, a multi-billion-dirham project designed to house up to 12,000 cabin crew members.

The agreement was signed by Ali Mubarak Al Soori, Emirates’ Chief Procurement & Facilities Officer, and Khalid Bin Kalban, Vice Chairman & CEO of Dubai Investments, in the presence of senior executives from both organisations, including Adel Al Redha, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Operating Officer.

The development will feature 20 modern residential buildings, each 19 floors high, with a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom apartments. The design focuses on crew comfort, convenience, and community living, including access to everyday essentials, leisure facilities, and shared spaces.

Construction is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2026, with the first phase slated for completion in 2029. The project will be delivered through a long-term lease arrangement.

Speaking about the project, Ali Mubarak Al Soori said,
"Our cabin crew are central to the Emirates experience. This Village will provide living spaces tailored to their needs, supporting their wellbeing while strengthening our long-term growth and transition to Al Maktoum International Airport."

Omar Al Mesmar, General Manager of Dubai Investments Park, added,
"Dubai Investments Park is a hub for ambitious global projects. Our collaboration with Emirates highlights the confidence leading organisations have in DIP’s infrastructure and supports Dubai’s vision as a global centre for business and investment."
