Flydubai Expands Global Reach with Seven New Interline Partnerships

Dubai-based airline flydubai has taken a major step in expanding its global connectivity by signing seven new interline agreements, pushing its total number of interline partners to over 40.

These strategic partnerships open up a wealth of travel opportunities for passengers. Through Greece’s flagship carrier Aegean Airlines and Italy’s national airline ITA Airways, travelers can now access more than 30 destinations across Europe, including Amsterdam, Athens, Brussels, Frankfurt, Madrid, Munich, Thessaloniki, Turin, and Venice.

Flydubai’s new agreements with Chinese airlines Air China, China Eastern Airlines, Hainan Airlines, Sichuan Airlines, and Myanmar Airways International significantly enhance connectivity to the Far East and South-East Asia, offering access to over 90 destinations, from Beijing and Shanghai to Ho Chi Minh City and Yangon.

Passengers will benefit from a seamless travel experience with single-ticket itineraries and through-checked baggage, reflecting flydubai’s ongoing commitment to convenience, flexibility, and expanded global reach. Today, the airline serves more than 135 destinations directly and provides access to over 300 destinations worldwide through its interline and codeshare partners.

Ghaith Al Ghaith, CEO of flydubai, said: “Since 2009, we have remained focused on enhancing connectivity and facilitating the free flow of trade and tourism. Adding seven new interline partners allows our passengers even more flexibility and choice, while enabling more travelers to access Dubai as a leading hub for tourism and business.”

He added, “We look forward to welcoming passengers from beyond our network, giving them the chance to explore our destinations and enjoy a comfortable travel experience, whether in Business or Economy Class.”

Flydubai’s expanding network now enables travelers to explore unique destinations such as AlUla, Basel, Krabi, Ljubljana, Mombasa, Muscat, Nairobi, Penang, Prague, Tashkent, the Red Sea, and Zanzibar, further cementing the airline’s role as a bridge between Dubai and the world.
