Bahrain’s Rocket League 3v3 boys’ team put up a strong showing at the Asian Youth Games 2025, advancing all the way to the bronze medal match after a spirited series of performances at Exhibition World Bahrain – Grandhall A and B.

The home team — Hussain Aljowder, Mohammed Alyaqoobi, Nasser Abdulhadi, and Sayed Ali Alawi — opened their campaign in style, defeating Indonesia 2–0 in the semifinal qualification round. In a dominant display, Bahrain won their first two games 4–1 and 3–2, sealing a clean sweep to advance to the semifinals. Later, Bahrain faced Jordan in a tense semifinal match on the main stage. Despite glimpses of promise from Aljowder and Alyaqoobi, the Jordanian side proved too strong, taking the series 3–0 (1–0, 2–0, 3–0) to move into the gold medal final. The loss pushed Bahrain into the bronze medal match against Oman.

In the bronze final, Oman maintained control throughout, taking the match 3–0 with game scores of 5–1, 2–0, and 3–2. The result placed Bahrain in fourth overall, which is a commendable finish in a field of the region’s top Rocket League contenders.

Saudi Arabia went on to claim gold after defeating Jordan 3–0 in the final.
