BisB launches 2nd edition of ‘On Her Path’ Initiative

Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB), the leading provider of innovative Islamic financial solutions for simplifying money matters in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and in cooperation with Bahrain Investment Professionals Society (CFA Society Bahrain), has announced the launch of the second edition of its flagship women’s mentorship initiative, “On Her Path,” in celebration of Bahraini Women’s Day 2025, held under the slogan “Bahraini Women: Distinction, Creativity, Innovation.”

On this occasion, BisB extended its sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, commending her leadership in empowering Bahraini women and advancing their role across all sectors of national development.

Marking the occasion, Ms. Fatema Al Alawi, Chief Executive Officer of BisB, stated, “Bahraini women have consistently demonstrated their remarkable ability to lead, innovate, and inspire progress acros  every sector. We are proud to champion their journey through programmes that equip them with the tools they need to realise their potential. “On Her Path” reflects BisB’s commitment to supporting the professional development of talented women in the Kingdom and aligns with the bank's corporate social responsibility strategy. It demonstrates the bank's dedication to contributing to national development, empowering women in the workforce, and strengthening their role in serving the community. The first edition of "On Her Path" was launched in partnership with CFA Society Bahrain, with 13 female mentors from the bank providing professional guidance to 13 trainees within a dedicated professional development programme.
