Daily Transfer Limit via Fawri+ Raised to BD 3,000

BENEFIT has officially announced that the daily transfer limit via Fawri+ has been increased to BD 3,000 per account.

This change, effective Monday, comes under the directive of the Central Bank of Bahrain and applies to all banks and financial institutions offering Fawri+ services.

With this update, customers can now send up to BD 3,000 instantly using the BenefitPay app or through their respective banks. This is a significant jump from the previous limit of BD 1,000 and is expected to make everyday transactions faster and more efficient.

“This change supports the growing demand for real-time payment solutions and reflects how people are increasingly relying on digital tools for their financial needs,” BENEFIT stated.

The move is also seen as part of Bahrain’s ongoing efforts to promote financial inclusion and modernize the kingdom’s financial infrastructure.

BENEFIT, known for its leadership in the FinTech and electronic payment space, emphasized that the new limit will help both individuals and businesses manage transactions more seamlessly, with the same trusted levels of speed and security.
