US role crucial in regional, global security: Bahrain

The United States of America, along with allied countries, plays a prominent role in enhancing global and regional security alongside brotherly and friendly countries, said HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
HRH Prince Salman made the remarks during a meeting with Barbara A Leaf, the US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, at Gudaibiya Palace.
HRH Prince Salman also stressed the importance of consolidating regional and global security to achieve common goals. The talks also focused on boosting bilateral cooperation and ways to enhance them in several areas.
The historical relations, HRH said, are developing and growing towards broader horizons of cooperation based on mutual trust.
HRH also pointed out that Bahrain-EU ties reflect the advanced levels of cooperation and joint coordination between two countries in all fields Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Charity Educational Endowment, and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa were present.
The meeting also discussed the latest developments of mutual concern at the regional and global levels.
