The voters’ lists for the Parliamentary and Municipal Elections 2022 are now available for review on the elections committee website and in person.

In case of discrepancy, voters could file appeals through the national eGovernment portal, which operates round the clock, the call centre and the supervisory committees. The voters’ list is available on www.vote.bh.

Authorities further said the online appeal system is for filing appeals against voters’ and candidates’ lists and election results. Anyone whose name is absent in the voters’ list or spotted an error has the right to request the supervisory committees to record his name or correct the data.

Four supervisory committees have started receiving the voters to verify their names in the lists that remain open until the 21st of this month.

“The amendments will be through judicial supervision, and the decisions of supervisory committee judges can be appealed before a competent court,” said Nawaf bin Mohammed Al-Maawda, the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Chair of the High Elections Committee.

The President of the Legislation and Legal Opinion Commission (LLOC), Executive Director of the Elections, Chancellor Nawaf Abdullah Hamza, urged all to encourage their family members to ensure their names are on the list to exercise their constitutional right.
