Hundreds of Bahrain students at SPECTRA 2015
Hundreds of students are now participating at the Indian School Bahrain in an art carnival titled ‘Spectra 2015’ aimed at encouraging artistic skills among the youth.
This is the largest art competition for students in Bahrain and is held by the Indian Community Relief Fund (ICRF), under the patronage of the Indian Embassy.
Indian Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission Ram Singh lit the traditional lamp and inaugurated the competition in the presence of other embassy officials, as well as ICRF and Indian School Bahrain officials and event organisers.
Students from various schools in Bahrain are participating in the Faber Castell 'Spectra 2015' art carnival after being selected in the preliminary rounds organised in their respective schools.
Participants were divided into four age groups – 5-8 years, 8-11 years, 11-14 years and 14-18 years.
The event is expected to be completed by 5 pm. The winners will be honored during the Grand Finale function on December 11 at Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam Diamond Jubilee Hall, Segaiya, at 5pm.
