Security Awareness Gateway Launched for Youth
The Ministry of Interior, in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth Affairs, has launched an interactive awareness programme titled “Security Awareness Gateway” as part of efforts to strengthen security awareness and promote preventive culture among young people.
Held at City of Youth 2030, the programme targeted participants aged between 12 and 14 years and continued for six days, featuring the participation of several departments from the Ministry of Interior.
The participating departments delivered a series of educational workshops and interactive activities covering key areas related to personal and community safety.
The programme addressed several important topics, including traffic safety, child protection and rights, combating violence, cyber security awareness, as well as introducing participants to the various career pathways and specialised fields available within the Ministry of Interior.
Through engaging activities and educational sessions, the initiative aimed to enhance social awareness, strengthen national values, and encourage a sense of citizenship and belonging among participants.
The Ministry of Interior said the programme reflects its commitment to expanding cooperation with national institutions and providing meaningful awareness initiatives that contribute to building a responsible generation capable of supporting community security and safety.
The initiative also aligns with Bahrain’s development goals by investing in youth capabilities and equipping future generations with knowledge and skills to contribute positively to society.
