Alsameea shines with BRAVE CF 107 victory

The event took place on Saturday, August 1, at Burgas Arena, as BRAVE Combat Federation continued its international expansion with another major card held in partnership with the Bulgarian Fight Agency.

Alsameea was originally scheduled to face Bulgaria’s Aleksandar Hristov, but a late injury forced a change of opponent, with Ramani stepping in on short notice.

The adjustment did not disrupt the Bahraini’s approach, as Alsameea controlled the fight from the opening bell through his wrestling and grappling. He repeatedly worked his way into dominant positions and kept Ramani under constant pressure on the mat throughout the three rounds.

His control and effectiveness were recognised by the judges, who all scored the contest in his favour with scores of 30-27, 30-27 and 30-26.

The victory marked another important step for Alsameea on BRAVE CF’s global platform, with the promotion continuing to showcase fighters from around the world across major international events.

Bahrain was also scheduled to have Muhammad Idrisov compete on the card against Colombia’s Alinson Ochoa, but the bout was cancelled after Ochoa exceeded the contracted weight limit during official weigh-ins. Discussions between both camps regarding revised terms did not result in an agreement.

The night’s headline attraction saw France’s Salim “Bizon” El Ouassaidi overcome Bulgarian light heavyweight contender Kaloyan Kolev in dramatic fashion, recovering from a difficult opening round before securing a third-round TKO victory.

Georgia’s Bidzina Gavashelishvili also strengthened his position as a potential flyweight title contender after earning a unanimous decision win over South Africa’s Luthando “Shorty” Biko.

The Burgas crowd was treated to several memorable finishes, including Pavel “The Werewolf” Vladev’s 52-second knockout of Greece’s Muhammed “The Thracian Gladiator” Kir Ahmet and Deyan Galinov’s second-round stoppage of Brazil’s Alexander “Pantera Negra” Mikael.
