Seef, Alba continue winning run in Bahrain Summer 3x3 Tour

Seef and Alba continued their dominance of Bahrain's summer 3x3 basketball competitions after claiming the men's and women's titles in their respective tournaments at Sports City, held as part of Youth City 2030 at Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB).
Seef captured the third stop of the Bahrain Summer Tour 2026 after defeating Team ATBB 22-12 in the men's final.
The champions were represented by Uroš Ilić, Austin Ajukwa, Elyas Younes and Isa Jasim, while ATBB featured Mohammed Kowayed, Nasser Almosawi, Ali Shukrallah and Sadeq Shukrallah.
The tournament featured 20 teams from Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, with Seef continuing their impressive run after also winning the Fiba-sanctioned Bahrain Summer Quest 2026, which secured them qualification for the Debrecen Masters in Hungary on August 29 and 30.
Seef reached the final with a commanding 22-6 victory over NY in the semi-finals, while ATBB defeated Bahrain Under-23 A 21-10. In the quarter-finals, Seef beat Bahrain Under-23 B 22-8, while ATBB overcame Makhariqa 19-6.
The winners' awards were presented by Bahrain Basketball Association deputy secretary general Mohammed Ahmed and competitions committee member Mohammed Albastaki.
Attention now turns to the Bahrain Summer Tour grand finale on Friday at EWB, where the champions will earn a place at the Go Too! Group Aichi 2026 Challenger in Japan, scheduled for October 10 and 11. The event serves as a qualifier for the Manama Masters on November 20 and 21, one of the premier tournaments on the Fiba 3x3 World Tour.
In the women's competition, Alba continued their unbeaten run by winning the second round of the Bahrain Summer Women's 3x3 Basketball Championship at Sports City.
The victory marked Alba's second consecutive title after also triumphing in the opening round of the series.
The winning squad featured Maryam Sameer, Aya Murtada, Mariam Jalal and Shireen Abdulrahman.
Ahmed Elias and Samana Haidari, members of the Bahrain Basketball Association's competitions committee, presented Alba with their awards following the final.
