Bahrain, US to boost ties and cooperation

Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa has stressed the depth of the historical and strategic relations between Bahrain and the US. He also emphasised the strength of the two countries’ cooperation and partnership on all levels, in light of the attention accorded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Receiving US Acting Assistant State Secretary for Near Eastern Affairs Yael Lambert, Shaikh Salman stressed the advanced levels of Bahrain-US relations, especially on the financial and economic levels. He pointed out keenness to strengthen cooperation and coordination towards broader horizons to achieve shared aspirations. The meeting discussed issues of shared interest and the latest developments in the global economy.
