Details of booster dose to be revealed soon: Dr Al Qahtani

Bahrain will announce the details of receiving the booster dose in the next few days, said Dr Manaf Al Qahtani. “The authorities in the coming days will announce all details regarding the planned booster dose, selection of beneficiaries, causes, and vaccine types,” said the Infectious Diseases Consultant & Microbiologist at the BDF Hospital and Member of the National Taskforce Combating the coronavirus pandemic.
“We will explain the medical and scientific aspect of the concept of the booster dose, which is one of the strategies in place for eliminating the Coronavirus pandemic,” he added.
Dr Al Qahtani further stressed that Team Bahrain is exerting all its capabilities to achieve this goal, considering the local and regional situations.
All team members, including the vaccination committee, public health specialists, doctors, medical team staff, are working to put this strategy into practice.
