Voluntary Work Prize Committee meets
The committee in charge of HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa Award for Voluntary Work held a meeting with voluntary work societies, individuals and expatriate communities clubs. The meeting focused on the 5th edition of the Best Voluntary Project, which will be held on the sidelines of the main prize - HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa Award for Voluntary Work.
Societies, individuals and expatriate communities clubs in Bahrain have been updated on the prize which aims at enhancing the standard of projects which are vying for this year’s edition, said Award HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa Award secretary-General Yacoub Bouhazaa. The meeting followed directives from HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa who is keen on developing the standard of the award as a key and efficient tool to develop voluntary work in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Members of the award jury arbitrating HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa Award, officials representing Good Word Society attended the meeting and contributed to enriching interactive dialogue. The attendees were updated on the terms and criteria governing HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa Award for Voluntary Work as stipulated in the application form put at the disposal of participants.
HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa had issued directives to increase the value of the voluntary work award to BD7,500 to include all three categories – Individuals, voluntary work societies and expatriate communities in Bahrain. The prizes will be distributed to winners on the sidelines of HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al-Khalifa Award for Voluntary Work in September.
