Respond constructively to issues raised by Press: PM
His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister called on government agencies and institutions to respond quickly and constructively to all issues raised by the press. The Premier also urged them to “work with the press to enhance the role of the media in performing its noble mission in serving the country and the citizen.”
HRH the Premier was speaking on the occasion of Bahrain Journalism Day which falls on May 7. Freedom of opinion and expression, Prince Khalifa said, is guaranteed by the provisions of the Constitution and law and everyone should stand united in the face of any threats to national unity and social fabric.
