The decision confirms Saudi Arabia’s deep-rooted approach based on a commitment to consolidating human rights and establishing the values of justice, it observed. The session welcomed the successful steps and firm decisions taken by the Saudi King to hold anyone who fails to carry out their duties accountable, and to deal with any mistakes or negligence credibly, transparently and objectively.

The Cabinet stressed that Saudi Arabia will always remain the state of law and principles that are based on justice, fairness, and protection of rights. The session was informed about Bahrain’s high-level delegation, to be led by HRH the Crown Prince, to the ‘Future Investment Initiative’ (FII) conference, set to be held in Saudi Arabia, under the auspices of King Salman, and chairmanship of Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Defence Minister, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The session welcomed the FII conference, and hailed the importance of holding such a mega world event, both in terms of location and timing, in light of the on-going large-scale global economic and technological changes, and the keenness of the region’s governments to maintain their competitive potentials during the age of new economy.

The Cabinet lauded the initiative launched by the Saudi leadership to hold such a global conference and attract high-profile participants from all over the world.
