‘Young, dynamic and growing
The startup ecosystem in the Kingdom is vibrant and thriving with ‘young and dynamic’ minds, said Tamkeen’s Chairman while hailing their ‘global mindset’ as an indication of being “on the right path.” “We are happy to see them grow,” said Shaikh Mohammed bin Essa Al Khalifa. He added: “They, the younger generation are more globally aware and this is a good omen for the future.”
Shaikh Mohammed bin Essa Al Khalifa was speaking to the Tribune on the potential of the startup business community here in embracing technology in sustaining growth. Speaking about the potential of the startup community here in embracing technology, Shaikh Mohammed said the startups here are more and more linked or are part of an information technology-based economy.
“We need them to keep on growing, as this is one of the important aspects of the community here which is young and dynamic.” In this regard, he also stressed Tamkeen’s resolve to continue providing all necessary support to boost the community.
