Vegetables! Now a dining luxury in Ramadan.

Ramadan isn’t a month to be exploited, complains the consumers but vendors blame it on supply issues. In just five days a huge rise in the price of vegetable has been seen in the kingdom despite the strict directions by the government. Consumers all over the kingdom are shocked with the sudden rise in the prices.

Nasser Mohammed says that the price rise can be connected with the large scale vegetables purchase done by the consumers,” some are thinking that a war will occur and buying everything they could get in market. Such behaviours are only increasing the prices.”

At the same time the prices of meat has remained stable and didn’t increase in spite of the huge demand for them. Many prefer meat over fish as fish could make them thirstier during the fast.
